I thought I was invincible...

WOW!!!

yesterday I experienced the FULL meaning of God only gives you what you can handle. I maybe got a little over my head yesterday... I kept asking God if he was sure I could handle this. When the Tech came in to turn on the electrical current to run through my Uterus he said "may I ask you a question?" "why on God's green earth would you want to put yourself through something like this?" well I'm asking myself that same question today!

I thought having two babies with no drugs made me invincible. Well it doesn't... I made it... I'm alive, but it was by far the most excruciating experience I've ever had in my life. Every second seemed like hours yesterday. I'm still in pain today but it's half of what it was yesterday. Being dilated to an 8 in less then 5 minutes was NOT the funnest things in the whole world I'll tell you that. And then going through the contractions to get me back to normal... ALL with NO baby!!! (sigh... tear)

Getting anxious...

I'm getting anxious about my surgery on Thursday. I know i'm a tough chick. I had 2 babies with no drugs and was induced with both of them. I had the biopsy a couple weeks ago and did not even flinch. I just keep reading things and getting told that I'm crazy for getting this procedure and opting out of getting put out and staying awake. But bottom line we have crappy insurance and don't have the money meaning I don't have a choice. I think i'm just a whirlwind of emotions and stress right now so it's making my confidence in myself weak. I keep telling myself "I can do ALL things through Chrsit who strenthens me"... NOT some things... ALL things!

Which means more than just Thursday!

I can get out of bed tomorrow morning. ON TIME... I can get the girls ready for school and fed before we leave, I can get the house cleaned, I can get my HM work done, I can get bills paid, errands ran, lunch made, get them down for a nap, dinner made AND I can have my teeth brushed, get dressed and maybe some make-up on somewhere in the day too! I need to do laundry, I'd love to get the car cleaned out... I have to set up accounts, finish some projects and I still haven't sent out Thank you Cards for Christmas presents... I mean really. it's the end of January! I'm horrible I know.... I need to get Brook's Birthday invites out and party planned and I need to get valanetine's finished. ALL THINGS GOD??? ALL of them... YOU can help me get them ALL done?! OK... I think we're going to pull an all-nighter!!! Are you ready?! Of course you are!!!

I spent the weekend working in Ogden at TOFW (Time Out for Woman) it's an LDS Woman's Conference! I was SO touched by the messages and music! Wow... it was powerful. I was so glad I went. Hillary Weeks was the singer... wow was it FANTASTIC... I bought her CD. I haven't been able to stop listening to it. Now I'm just praying that I get some leads from it... I "NEED" to make money!!! We are struggling.... LORD.... ALL things through you!!! I'm ready to make those calls tomorrow!!! Go before me... help me!!!! AMEN.

What happened in Vegas stays in Vegas....

I celebrated my 30th Birthday in Vegas with my BFF's. It was the MOST amazing trip! We laughed so hard I pee'd my pants, we got dressed up, rode in LIMO's, ate at the "Cut" in the Venetian. We danced until 6am, stayed in a Suite and Nobody got arrested, Nobody got in any fights... it was a super fun and memorable trip! I am So lucky to have such amazing friends and family! Here are some fun pictures... Enjoy! I welcomed the 30's in with a BANG... I am excited to be 30 and will now be making my "Bucket List" as I've been informed as the NEXT thing to do!!!

The Cherry Fair!

we went to Oregon to visit my aunt and we helped her with The Annual Cherry Fair! Talking about feeling like you lived in the movie "Charlotte's Webb" we have always loved the small town life! I think if Jimmy could find a job we'd be moving there!

The Fair consisted of a community breakfast than a parade! The girls were on the Cherry Fairy Float... (so dang cute!) Then there was games, raffles for quilts, homemade treats, the most amazing fresh squeezed lemonade we've EVER had in our lives, the Piggy train, Cherry Pie eating contest, Cherry Pit spitting contest, Cherry Cooking Contest, there was pulled pork sandwiches for lunch, corn on the cobb and coleslaw and Cherry Pie, than for dinner there were beans, more corn and Cherry glazed chicken halves & Cherry Cobbler for dessert! Jimmy BBQ'd ALL the chicken halves, almost 300 of them! It was 109 degrees, record breaking heat that day for this little town in Oregon but you would not have known it. Everyone was out for the event.

Auntie Sherry had the girls special Cherry dresses to wear all day and they loved them! We had the most amazing time! It sure was a day to remember and we can't wait to go back...

2008 Olympics - Michael Phelps

Ok, I've ALWAYS loved the Olympics, ever since I was little... I would sneak and stay up late and watch them in my room when I was supposed to be sleeping! I've been doing the same thing the past few days! :o) I actually went almost 48 hours w/out sleeping because I had 2 back to back workshops from 4pm- midnight then a community garage sale, to make a long story short, instead of sleeping, I would come home at 1am and turn on the Olympics!

We have ALOT of amazing athletes, WOW! However that Phelps boy has got me "clumsy" hee hee! Of course I could be his mom and I'm married but Holy Cow does that swimming and energy and cute smile make my heart flutter! Watching him break the World Record and watching his family and the president of the united states cheer him on too was magical. I actually got goose skin and teared up!

I've always thought that one of my kids would be in the Olympics someday... it's strange but when we were watching the SLC Olympics I even said to Jimmy, "I bet one of our kids will be in the Olympics!" I hope they want to swim, do gymnastics... whatever, who knows, could just be a secret, unconscious wish or desire since I always wanted to be a great athlete... or maybe it's something. All I know is that I want to support my kids and give them the opportunity to shoot for the stars and know they can be and do ANYTHING they want to!!!

Well... I NEED to get back to watching my TIVO'd Olympics! ha ha ha!!! I'm obsessed... it's embarrassing!!! But Jimmy is too... he loves it. The only thing we've found we don't care much about is the fencing and it's weird because the Good Ole... US of A won a gold for all 3 medal placings! We must be killer at it, it just seems dumb to me!?
